We are exciting to introduce the work of artist and graphic designer Toby Neilan.
Taking inspiration from pop artists such a Julian Opie, Neilan has deveoped his own painterly, yet digitalised style. The rounded edges of the lines reminding the viewer of the lines we draw on screen, but then transported into a physical painting.
Drawing with a dot Toby produces pared down visuals with a free painterly result. His bold use of block colour and shape creates recognisable everyday figures and objects, using abstract lines and shape.
Neilan's international collaborators include; Y-3, Nike, Issey Miyake, Kylie, Continental and Condè Nast International. He has also been a visiting tutor at Epson University of the Creative Arts and London College of Fashion, University of the Arts London.
