Upcoming Print Release with Rebecca Brodskis

RHODES Editions is excited to announce our second collaboration with French artist Rebecca Brodskis, available to purchase on April 30.

Following the success of her sell-out RHODES Editions debut, Effet Miroir, we have once again worked with Rebecca Brodskis to publish the limited-edition Archival Pigment Print While the World Goes Round. Similar to her 2024 release, this edition also features a layer of screenprinted gloss, enhancing the feel of the print and mirroring the texture of her original paintings.

While the World Goes Round is a perfect example of Brodskis’ work, as an artist who formally studied painting, and also has a Master’s degree in sociology. This creates themes of human vulnerability and the intricacies of relations, all depicted in her signature unnatural hues. This work is created almost entirely in shades of orange, blue, brown, and white. The screenprinted gloss over the details of the foregrounded figure's clothes helps to establish texture and borders, while respecting the depth of colours Brodskis chooses for her compositions.

Brodskis has exhibited worldwide over the last decade, including solo shows in London, LA, Germany, Mexico, and Benin. She studied painting at the Ateliers des Beaux Arts de la Ville de Paris and at Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London, graduating in 2010. In 2015, she completed a Master’s degree in Sociology.

While the World Goes Round will be available to purchase on April 30 through the RHODES Editions website. Email us to register your interest or with any questions about the release.
