RHODES is delighted present a new series of original works on canvas by Scottish contemporary painter, Stewart Swan. After the huge success of his debut solo exhibition Square Go in February, Swan makes a triumphant return with a new series of anamorphic works, bringing us back into his darkly humorous world.

In this new series of original oil paintings on canvas, we see Stewart Swan further develop his portrayals of the spirit of everyday faces, through suggested narrative and the profound impact of body language and human expression. These anamorphic characters feel playful and inviting, as if sharing a joke with the viewer.
