New works from Ludi Leiva

A series of new monoprints are available through RHODES

RHODES is proud to present a new series of delicate monoprints on paper by Ludi Leiva. Dreamlike and luminous, these new works are made from soft layers, pigments organically shaping one another to reveal figures and landscapes.

Working intuitively, Leiva builds her imagery through a close understanding of her materials, responding to the textures of paint and paper. Inspired by the mountain landscapes of her childhood and her family's ancestral homelands, her compositions merge human presence with natural forms, creating spaces that feel both remembered and imagined.

Light, fluid and folk-like in their sensibility, these monoprints reveal the quiet register of Leiva’s practice. Printed on fine handmade Japanese paper, each work carries a delicate physicality, containing subtle textures, drifting forms, and moments of stillness.
