Huckins is known for his alternative approach to depictions of the natural world, layering swathes of fabric over landscapes. His meticulous approach to the fabric is essential to his work, creating fabric so realistic that the viewer can imagine touching it. It was essential to translate this detail and depth in Beaver Moon accurately, and this has been achieved through printing the edition on Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic Paper. This reflective depth mirrors the artist’s approach to soft moonlight and fluid drapery, giving the edition a luminous quality and depth that echoes the original painting.
