We are delighted to announce the collaboration between Rebecca Brodskis and RHODES Editions. This print release promises to give collectors an opportunity to purchase a giclée recreation of one of Brodski’s original paintings. Allowing her work to reach further in the art world, these prints offer an accessible entry into art buying with an established artist, as well as an opportunity for enthusiasts to expand their current collections.
Rebecca Brodskis is a Paris-based artist whose rich, multicultural upbringing has significantly shaped her artistic expression. Spending her formative years traveling between France and Morocco, Brodskis developed a unique perspective that permeates her work. This exposure to diverse cultures and environments fostered an early appreciation for the complexity of human experience and the interplay between different worlds, both physical and metaphysical. She refined her artistic skills at the Ateliers des Beaux Arts de la Ville de Paris and the renowned Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in London, from which she graduated in 2010. Brodskis further enriched her intellectual pursuits with a Master's degree in Sociology in 2015, focusing her research on themes of vulnerabilities and social crises.
Brodskis' artistic journey explores the boundaries of the sensible world, crafting narratives that lie on the boundary between conscious and unconscious spaces. Her work is a profound reflection on existence, selfhood, and otherness, with a distinct emphasis on the "in-between" — a liminal space where empirical reality meets imagination, order encounters disorder, materialism intersects with spirituality, and determinism converges with freedom. This intricate interplay creates a dynamic and thought-provoking dialogue within her art.
The figures and forms in Brodskis' paintings often inhabit a dreamlike, surreal quality, evoking a sense of timelessness and ambiguity. Her use of colour and composition invites viewers to immerse themselves in a world that is both familiar and alien, prompting introspection and a deeper understanding of the human condition. Brodskis' work challenges traditional perceptions of identity and reality, encouraging a revaluation of the boundaries that define our existence.
Brodskis' artistic approach is deeply influenced by her academic background in sociology, which informs her exploration of social dynamics and the human psyche. Her paintings often address themes of isolation, connection, and the invisible threads that bind individuals and communities. By juxtaposing elements of chaos and harmony, Brodskis creates a visual language that speaks to the complexity of contemporary life and the enduring quest for meaning and understanding.
Her work has garnered significant attention and acclaim, leading to numerous solo exhibitions such as ‘Let’s talk about you and me’ at the Kristin Hjellegjerde Gallery London in 2022 and ‘Dilemma: Rebecca Brodskis and Friends’ at the Bastille Design Centre in Paris this year.

As well as her solo shows, Brodskis has taken part in group exhibitions worldwide, such as ‘The Day I Saw You’ at the Queretaro Contemporary Art Museum in Mexico in 2023 and at the Dallas Art Fair with Fabienne Levy Gallery, 2023. Brodskis' ability to resonate with diverse audiences is a testament to the universality of her themes and the emotional depth of her artistry. Her paintings are housed in several prestigious private and public collections such as the Alan Lo Collection in Hong Kong and The Bunker Artspace Museum in the USA, reflecting her growing influence in the art world.
