Project Room: Imprint: Group Exhibition

This exhibition celebrates the spontaneity, immediacy, and textural richness of these printmaking techniques, where each work is a singular, unrepeatable expression—an imprint of a moment in time.

Monotypes and monoprints sit at the intersection of painting and printmaking, blending the fluidity of brushstrokes with the structured process of printing. In contrast to traditional printmaking methods, where multiple prints can be produced, these techniques yield one-of-a-kind works. Each print becomes a unique reflection of the artist’s hand, layered with marks, gestures, and often unexpected textures.

The featured artists in Imprint embrace the dynamic interplay of control and chance, exploring a wide range of subject matter and techniques. From ethereal, abstract compositions to bold, narrative-driven imagery, the works on display invite viewers to engage with the tactile and transient nature of these prints.
